If you are looking for a new attraction to visit in Seoul, then you definitely have to visit Lotte World Tower in Seoul.

Lotte World Tower was completed in 2018. Towering at 555m, it is the tallest building in South Korea (5th tallest in the world).

Before you head up to the highest point of the tower, you might want to spend some time exploring the area around it.

You can spend the morning at Lotte World, riding rollercoasters and screaming your lungs out. Go for a shopping spree at Lotte Department Store and Lotte World Mall in the afternoon. Oh, there’s also an aquarium in the mall! Spending just one day there will not be enough, to be honest.

HOT TIP: Get your tickets to Lotte World, Aquarium or Seoul Sky online! You can get them in a package (Lotte World + Aquarium) or individually. Either way, it’s definitely cheaper than buying on-site. 😉

To get to the top of the tower, you need to find the “Seoul Sky” ticketing area. It’s located at Basement 1 of Lotte World Mall. Claim your physical tickets there using the tickets you have bought online and head on in to take the world’s fastest elevator to the top! (It travels at 10 metres per second!) A special visual presentation awaits you in the elevator and the moment you reach the top.

HOT TIP: Go there right before sunset to enjoy both the day and night views. Also, check the pollution levels to ensure clear views.

Soak in the 360 degrees view of Seoul once you are at the top. Not afraid of heights? Try walking on glass 555m above the ground.

Or enjoy a cup of coffee while at the top of the world!

There is no time limit (other than the operating hours) to how long you can stay up there. Take your time to enjoy the views and watch the city move.
